Base Salary
$154k - $187k/yr
Responsibilities
- Ship interoperable software products and systems supporting customer interactions inside and outside vehicles.
- Design and implement complex scalable, reliable, and high-performance software systems.
- Develop and support identity, access, and profile services for web, mobile, and vehicle applications.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical deliverables.
- Apply software development standards including code reviews, testing, and documentation.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers.
- Own team services and ensure 24/7 on-call coverage.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, code quality, and delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- At least 5 years of software development experience focused on backend technologies.
- Proficiency in one of Go, Node.js, Python, Java, or Ruby.
- Experience with relational and/or non-relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
- Experience with identity management systems such as Azure AD, AWS Cognito, LDAP, Okta, or Keyclock.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills.
