Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain modern web applications and cloud-native architectures using Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Collaborate with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Design, implement, and deploy scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
  • Build and deploy containerized applications and work with distributed systems, microservices, and RESTful APIs.
  • Modernize legacy systems, simplify complex architectures, reduce technical debt, and deliver incremental business value.
  • Share knowledge and mentor junior engineers.
  • Work in Agile development environments and undertake occasional travel when needed.

Requirements

  • Strong professional experience with Node.js and its ecosystem, preferably NestJS or similar backend frameworks.
  • Excellent knowledge of TypeScript and JavaScript, plus modern frontend technologies such as React and Next.js.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform: Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases, data modeling, SQL, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with Docker, microservices, distributed systems, RESTful API design, automated testing, and modern CI/CD practices.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, design principles, and engineering best practices, with sound technical decision-making ability.
  • Experience working in Agile environments with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Professional proficiency in English.
  • Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools is preferred.
  • Experience integrating third-party platforms and APIs, particularly in e-commerce ecosystems, is preferred.
