Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, optimize, debug, refactor, and reuse code for Windows software and services.
- Deliver highly requested features for commercial customers and partners at global scale.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to determine user requirements, identify dependencies, and create design documents.
- Partner with product managers and other stakeholders on project plans, release plans, and work items.
- Act as a Designated Responsible Individual, participate in on-call monitoring, and help restore degraded or interrupted services.
- Improve product availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance while mentoring other engineers.
- Provide technical leadership and foster technical relationships across partner teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 8+ years of technical engineering experience, or a master’s degree and 7+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.
- Coding experience in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Excellent design, coding, debugging, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Customer-focused and innovative mindset with a passion for engineering craftsmanship.
- Cross-group design and coordination experience is advantageous.
