Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with designers, animators, artists, and engineers to develop immersive presentation features and broadcast experiences.
  • Design and implement runtime architectures for dynamic cameras, cinematic sequences, transitions, and broadcast overlays.
  • Analyze requirements and create technical designs and documentation for presentation features.
  • Profile, debug, and optimize systems across multiple platforms within memory, CPU, and GPU budgets.
  • Use internal and external technologies within the Frostbite ecosystem to improve content workflows and team efficiency.
  • Own presentation systems from architectural design through implementation and multiplatform release.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of professional software or game-development experience, preferably in large multiplatform codebases.
  • Strong proficiency in C++ and knowledge of object-oriented design, data structures, and software-engineering practices.
  • Experience developing, maintaining, and debugging production-level software or game-engine systems.
  • Experience with scripting or managed languages such as Python, C#, or Lua for tooling and automation is preferred.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools or coding agents for prototyping, execution, and workflow automation, with the ability to review generated code critically.
  • Understanding of memory management, multithreading, and runtime optimization.
  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent training and professional experience.
