Base Salary
$156k - $182k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and ship frontend features, real-time systems, and backend infrastructure across the full stack.
- Build data pipelines and internal tools for adding information sources and maintaining sector coverage.
- Improve agentic parsing and extraction systems to make AI agents more capable and reliable.
- Own work end to end, including data inspection, build QA, instrumentation, production releases, and issue resolution.
- Deliver an initial information source integration, agentic-system speed or reliability improvement, and company ontology and data center within the stated first-month milestones.
Requirements
- 2 to 7 years of professional software engineering experience building, shipping, and operating production systems end to end.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying agentic AI or LLM-based applications in production.
- Full-stack experience with Python backend development, FastAPI or equivalent, TypeScript, and React.
- Experience with data infrastructure and pipelines, including ETL, data modeling, and SQL.
- Experience designing and optimizing PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
- AWS cloud infrastructure and deployment experience.
- Experience with production observability, monitoring, and debugging of distributed systems.
- Experience with real-time data systems and streaming updates.
- Experience at a quantitative or high-performance trading firm is preferred.
- Capital markets, equity research, or broader financial services knowledge is preferred.
- Experience with modern data tools such as dbt or column-store/vector databases is preferred.
- US citizenship or valid US work authorization is required.
Benefits
- Salary range is $156,000 to $182,000 USD annually.
- On-site work in New York City five days per week.
