Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Own high-impact customer-facing product areas and ship improvements from whiteboard to production.
- Iterate on UI, UX, and core application logic using user feedback and production data.
- Decompose ambiguous product goals into engineering plans, execute them, and measure outcomes.
- Use AI pair-programming tools to increase development productivity and encourage their adoption across the team.
- Monitor production metrics, troubleshoot live issues, own the reliability of shipped software, and contribute to platform architecture decisions.
- Collaborate with design, the founding team, customers, and customer success to translate pain points into product decisions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience with a record of shipping customer-facing features end-to-end.
- Strong frontend TypeScript skills with modern frameworks; Svelte/SvelteKit is strongly preferred, while React/Next.js is acceptable.
- Hands-on Postgres and backend TypeScript experience, including schema design, migrations, and query optimization.
- Daily fluent use of AI coding assistants such as Cursor, Claude Code, or Windsurf.
- Ability to break ambiguous problems into shippable increments and communicate tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving early-stage environment with shifting priorities and ownership of outcomes.
- Experience with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and production monitoring.
- Preferred experience includes the AI SDK, AI-first UX patterns, RAG pipelines, AI agent architectures, government contracting, military or intelligence work, regulated environments such as FedRAMP, IL, or HIPAA, and open-source work.
