Base Salary
$140k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain backend services and APIs.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Investigate and resolve production issues and customer-reported bugs.
- Contribute to system design discussions and architectural decisions.
- Continuously improve code quality, testing practices, and development processes.
Requirements
- Strong background in Node.js/Typescript and PostgreSQL.
- 8+ years of backend development experience with distributed systems and microservices.
- Proficiency with GraphQL, TypeORM, and Nest.js.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, message brokers, and APIs.
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to self-organize and manage tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in the retail and/or fuel & convenience industries is a plus.
- Ruby/Rails experience is a big plus.
