Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-grade API and integration solutions.
- Define architecture for real-time APIs, backend services, event-driven systems, and webhooks.
- Establish standards and reusable patterns for API design, distributed systems, backend services, and integration frameworks.
- Design synchronous REST/API and asynchronous messaging integrations across business platforms, core banking systems, and external partners.
- Lead event-driven architecture using messaging, event streaming, publish/subscribe models, asynchronous processing, and webhooks.
- Own technical delivery from architecture through production support while ensuring scalability, security, reliability, and compliance.
- Lead and mentor engineering teams, conduct technical design reviews, and collaborate with Product, Operations, Security, Risk, Compliance, and Data teams.
Requirements
- Senior-level experience leading enterprise integration architecture and API development.
- Strong expertise in API-first architecture, backend services, distributed systems, and integration frameworks.
- Experience designing source-to-target data flows and reliable synchronous and asynchronous integrations.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure, cloud-native architectures, serverless computing, and modern integration platforms.
- Deep understanding of OAuth 2.0, JWT, authentication and authorization, API security, data protection, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience providing technical leadership, mentoring engineering teams, driving design reviews, and managing cross-functional stakeholders.

- Base compensation range of 80000 - 100000 per annum.
