Base Salary
$120k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Work directly with the founders as Takt’s first engineering hire.
- Design, build, and deploy systems across the full stack.
- Build the core intelligence engine that powers modern factories.
- Influence early product, infrastructure, and architecture decisions.
- Develop and maintain production systems capable of supporting 50–100 enterprise customers with minimal downtime.
- Build data pipelines and clean inconsistent real-world data.
- Own foundational systems and make decisions with long-term product impact.
Requirements
- At least 2–3 years of experience deploying and maintaining production-grade full-stack code at scale.
- Strong cloud infrastructure skills, with Azure preferred.
- Deep experience building data pipelines and cleaning messy, inconsistent real-world data.
- Strong generalist coding ability, especially on the backend.
- Experience supporting enterprise customers with minimal downtime is required.
- Production AI/ML or LLM systems experience is preferred.
- Experience with LLM tool orchestration, chain design, agent delegation, prompt engineering, and evaluation methodologies is preferred.
- Experience integrating enterprise systems such as Microsoft Business Central, SAP, ERP, MES, and data historians is preferred.
- Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL is preferred.
- Familiarity with permissioning models, data governance, SOC2, or GDPR is preferred.
- Experience working with IT teams and meeting enterprise security requirements is preferred.
- Candidates should demonstrate ownership, agency, adaptability, speed, and willingness to work through ambiguity.
Benefits
