Responsibilities
- Develop features, products, and systems that enhance user value throughout their journey with Coinbase.
- Rapidly launch, iterate, and optimize new and existing features to drive growth.
- Build resilient and scalable systems that support fast feature development.
- Architect and develop distributed systems.
- Provide technical structure and collaborate with management on strategic roadmaps.
- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Mentor and train team members on design techniques and coding standards.
- Design and implement foundational infrastructure components used in production.
- Write high-quality, well-tested code to meet customer needs.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Experience architecting and developing solutions to ambiguous problems.
- Passionate about building an open financial system.
- Full-stack mindset with the ability to tackle diverse problems.
- Data-driven approach to identifying and pursuing high-impact opportunities.
- Ability to work quickly while balancing velocity and quality.
