Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Identify high-friction operational workflows and redesign them using AI, automation, and platform engineering patterns.
- Build agentic and event-driven workflows for provisioning, remediation, change execution, and support deflection.
- Implement AI-assisted tooling for incident detection, classification, root cause analysis, and automated remediation.
- Design self-service infrastructure capabilities using standardized modules, golden paths, reusable components, code, APIs, and internal platforms.
- Design and operate infrastructure across AWS and Azure using Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Automate identity and access workflows and troubleshoot complex cloud, networking, identity, and distributed-systems issues.
- Introduce operational standards and patterns, influence engineering teams, and communicate automation and AI impact through operational metrics.
Requirements
- Strong experience with AWS services including EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, DynamoDB, and IAM, as well as Azure.
- Solid networking fundamentals covering DNS, routing, and security.
- Experience with infrastructure as code; Terraform is preferred and CloudFormation experience is a plus.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, such as Azure DevOps or similar tools.
- Strong scripting and programming skills, with Python preferred and Bash or PowerShell experience.
- Experience with Git workflows, including branching, pull requests, and code review.
- Experience with authentication and identity systems including SAML, OAuth, Entra ID/Azure AD, and Cognito.
- Experience designing or building AI-assisted or agentic workflows for engineering or operational use cases.
- Ability to evaluate when AI is appropriate, when deterministic automation is preferable, and how to combine both safely.
- Familiarity with AI orchestration concepts including tool use, context management, human-in-the-loop patterns, and observability for AI-driven actions.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across distributed systems and APIs, plus the ability to drive systemic change and influence engineering teams.
- Preferred: 7+ years of experience in infrastructure, DevOps, cloud engineering, or platform engineering.
- Preferred experience with agentic AI frameworks, LLM orchestration, AI-driven workflow tools, internal developer platforms, self-service tooling, platform engineering, ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms, and production systems in enterprise environments.
