Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain custom ServiceNow applications and workflows using Studio and App Engine Studio.
- Build server-side and client-side JavaScript solutions using Business Rules, Script Includes, GlideRecord, GlideAggregate, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and g_form.
- Architect data models, table structures, extended tables, relationships, dictionaries, indexes, and scalable database schemas.
- Create process automation with Flow Designer, Subflows, and IntegrationHub.
- Implement platform security using ACLs, roles, application access, and cross-scope privileges.
- Design and consume REST and SOAP integrations using Scripted REST APIs, Import Sets, Transform Maps, and OAuth.
- Develop Service Portal interfaces, Workspace configurations, form layouts, and custom UI Pages.
- Manage ServiceNow development lifecycles with Update Sets, Scoped Applications, and source control.
- Troubleshoot platform issues and performance bottlenecks using Node Log, Script Debugger, and System Diagnostics tools.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, business process owners, and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer.
- Expertise building and maintaining enterprise-level REST and SOAP integrations.
- Experience managing end-to-end development cycles from requirements gathering through deployment.
- Demonstrable portfolio of ServiceNow applications or workflows.
- Experience with ServiceNow Git integration or other source control management tools.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with documentation standards, code reviews, and maintaining high-performance codebases.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification required.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification required.
- Certified Implementation Specialist certification in ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, or Security Operations preferred.
- Experience with the Now Experience UI Framework preferred.
