Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain audit logging and telemetry pipelines in Go.
  • Implement production features and bug fixes within established architectural patterns.
  • Develop and maintain integrations with Splunk, Datadog, Chronicle, and Microsoft Sentinel.
  • Support accurate, correctly retained, and real-time accessible audit records.
  • Collaborate with IAM, Threat Detection, and Platform teams.
  • Identify and help remediate gaps in logging coverage and event data quality.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of software engineering experience building and shipping production services.
  • Proficiency in Go or strong experience with another typed systems language and the ability to ramp quickly.
  • Understanding of distributed systems, including replication, latency trade-offs, and failure modes.
  • Some exposure to streaming or messaging systems such as Kafka or Flink is preferred.
  • Exposure to containerized environments such as Kubernetes and SQL databases.
  • Experience with Terraform is preferred.
  • Exposure to OpenTelemetry or OCSF is preferred.
  • Familiarity with gRPC microservices architecture is preferred.
  • Experience with security-sensitive or compliance-adjacent systems is preferred.
  • Ability to document work clearly, ask questions, and collaborate effectively.
