Base Salary
$160k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain a core consumer-facing Android application.
- Build and scale platform infrastructure while solving complex technical and product problems.
- Contribute to product design decisions and overall product direction.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and business stakeholders.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior Android engineers.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of mobile engineering experience.
- Strong Kotlin expertise with Jetpack Compose and modern Android architecture, including MVVM and Clean Architecture.
- Hands-on experience building and shipping consumer-facing B2C mobile applications.
- Experience with Protobufs, REST, and gRPC APIs and backend data formats.
- Experience integrating Firebase Authentication, Firestore or Realtime Database, and Cloud Messaging.
- Proficiency with Android unit and instrumentation/UI testing and maintaining mobile CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Mentorship or technical leadership experience guiding junior mobile engineers is preferred.
