Responsibilities
- Own the ingestion pipelines for converting point clouds and imagery into standard formats.
- Reverse-engineer vendor formats with sparse documentation to expand data intake capabilities.
- Build systems to automatically triage failures and reformat data.
- Implement automated checks and regression testing for data consistency.
- Optimize performance of processing and storage for massive geospatial datasets in the cloud.
- Collaborate with customers and partners to support critical projects.
Requirements
- Strong software development and debugging skills.
- Experience building production software in Python.
- Ability to operate with ambiguity and reverse-engineer messy data formats.
- Strong communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
- Foundation in parallel computing or distributed systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
