Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and deliver secure, stable, scalable software solutions.
- Create and maintain high-quality production code and algorithms that integrate with appropriate systems.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI coding and automation tools for code generation, refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation, with peer review and validation.
- Produce architecture and design artifacts and ensure software implementation meets design constraints.
- Analyze large and diverse datasets and create visualizations and reports to support continuous software improvement.
- Identify patterns and hidden problems in data to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database-querying languages.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and the ability to evaluate and refine generated outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Knowledge of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security practices, including the ability to guide peers.
- Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
- Preferred: familiarity with modern front-end technologies, React, JavaScript, AWS, and cloud-agnostic application development and deployments.
