Responsibilities
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated functional, regression, integration, API, performance, security, and accessibility tests.
- Build scalable test automation frameworks, reusable components, test cases, and testing standards.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and establish automated quality gates.
- Troubleshoot failed builds, test failures, environment issues, deployment defects, and recurring quality problems.
- Develop test plans, test data, traceability records, execution results, and audit-ready QA documentation.
- Track defects and quality metrics, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
- Conduct performance, load, stress, resilience, security remediation, and Section 508 accessibility testing.
- Support sprint and program increment activities, user acceptance testing, independent verification and validation, third-party testing, and federal audits.
- Present test results and quality trends to technical teams and program leadership and mentor team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 3–5 years of software quality assurance experience focused on test automation engineering.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation.
- Experience with Selenium, Katalon, JMeter, Axe by Deque, and Postman.
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Harness, GitHub Actions, or an equivalent tool.
- Understanding of software development life cycles, Agile methodologies, and shift-left testing practices.
- Experience with federal compliance environments such as FedRAMP, FISMA, or NIST standards.
- Experience with Google Cloud and previous federal contracting or government program experience.
- Certifications such as ISTQB Foundation or Advanced Level are required or listed qualifications.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or higher security clearance.
- Knowledge of accessibility testing and Section 508 compliance is desired.
- Experience presenting QA findings and quality metrics to leadership and an existing active Public Trust or higher clearance are desired.
