Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and improve scalable, maintainable, secure, and performant software solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define requirements and solution strategies.
- Participate in code reviews and promote code quality, knowledge sharing, and technical excellence.
- Implement unit and integration testing practices to ensure software reliability.
- Use Java, Spring, Spring Boot, REST APIs, multithreading, and SQL in software development.
- Manage risk, strengthen controls, support governance activities, and communicate complex information to stakeholders.
- Lead complex assignments and, where applicable, coach and develop team members.
Requirements
- Expertise in Core Java, object-oriented programming concepts, and Java Collections.
- Knowledge of Spring concepts including IoC, transactions, JPA, and MVC.
- Knowledge of Spring Boot, REST API architecture, and Gradle or Maven.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Mockito and EasyMock and integration testing with Karate.
- Hands-on experience with multithreading, ExecutorService, CompletableFuture, and thread-safety functionality.
- Basic knowledge of SQL.
- Desirable experience includes React Native, React 18, TypeScript, JavaScript, Redux, mobile UI/UX, API gateway patterns, performance tuning, AWS or Azure, observability tools, automated testing, and CI/CD.
