Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain performant, scalable, and maintainable Java applications.
- Lead the design and development of complex software solutions for cybersecurity applications.
- Oversee and mentor software developers by providing technical guidance and fostering continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with team members, product owners, designers, product managers, security analysts, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Write, review, and maintain high-quality code in accordance with coding standards and best practices.
- Contribute to development process, tooling, technical documentation, design specifications, user guides, and API documentation.
- Stay current with modern Java development practices, emerging technologies, and cybersecurity industry trends.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience with Java and object-oriented programming principles.
- Experience with SQL and database systems such as MySQL and MariaDB.
- Experience with AI tools and agent integration.
- Understanding of the CI/CD development lifecycle and hands-on Git version control experience.
- Experience with Java build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON.
- Experience with testing frameworks and libraries such as JUnit, Mockito, or TestNG.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Willingness to upskill in Laravel/PHP, infrastructure as code, SaaS environment concepts, and queue-based architecture.
