Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership during software planning cycles and align development efforts with business goals, estimates, and timelines.
- Design and architect scalable, performant, maintainable software applications, products, websites, and database enhancements.
- Lead the development, integration, testing, deployment, bug fixing, and production support of complex software solutions.
- Guide and mentor less experienced team members and establish standards for code, technical documentation, and software delivery.
- Collaborate with business analysts, QA testers, project managers, and end users to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
- Provide high-level technical support, troubleshoot production issues, and recommend software enhancements and improvements.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software development experience, including .NET and web application development.
- Expertise with software development life-cycle methodologies, development tools, platforms, and programming languages.
- End-to-end experience leading the development, integration, testing, and deployment of complex cloud-based or internet-related software solutions.
- Experience with complex relational databases and advanced SQL techniques.
- Proven experience developing and leading highly scalable, complex microservices and knowledge of integration patterns.
- Extensive experience with software architecture and design principles.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or at least 9 years of software development experience in lieu of a degree.
- Preferred experience includes AI-enabled solutions and LLM integration, Microsoft Azure cloud-native applications, enterprise production support, Tier 3 application support, observability, telemetry, distributed architectures, RESTful APIs, event-driven systems, messaging platforms, and application performance monitoring.
- Preferred certifications include Certified Software Development Professional or equivalent, plus Professional Scrum Developer or Certified Scrum Developer.
- Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work without current or future employment-visa sponsorship.
