Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable AWS infrastructure.
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and/or TeamCity.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment workflows with Terraform, Chef, and scripting.
- Manage and support containerized workloads using ECS.
- Monitor applications and infrastructure with Splunk, Datadog, and other observability tools.
- Handle incidents, troubleshoot production issues, and lead root-cause analysis and resolution.
- Support artifact management and release processes using JFrog Artifactory.
- Contribute to proof-of-concepts, automation initiatives, platform improvements, and operational excellence efforts.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and cross-functional teams to improve build, release, deployment, and platform reliability processes.
Requirements
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in DevOps.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and AWS CLI.
- Strong expertise in CI/CD pipeline design, implementation, and support.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and Chef.
- Strong scripting and automation skills using Shell scripting, PowerShell, and Python.
- Experience with ECS and containerized workloads.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk and Datadog.
- Experience with JFrog Artifactory.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and PostgreSQL queries.
- Strong incident handling, production support, and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with EKS, Helm Charts, GitOps, ECR, and third-party vault or secrets-management solutions is preferred or beneficial.
- Understanding of SRE principles and architecture mindset.
- AWS certification is preferred.
- Experience working in distributed or global teams and the ability to understand product architecture and business workflows quickly.
- Ability to work independently, collaborate effectively, take ownership, and contribute to technical initiatives and proof-of-concepts.
