Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, operate, and support scalable, secure, and highly available software platforms and services.
- Translate business and technical requirements into solution designs, implementation plans, and operational runbooks.
- Lead technical design discussions, architecture reviews, technology decisions, modernization initiatives, and platform strategy.
- Build and operate resilient cloud-native services across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and cloud-native tooling.
- Design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and automation to improve software delivery and developer productivity.
- Architect, deploy, and manage containerized workloads and Kubernetes platforms across multi-region environments.
- Establish observability, monitoring, alerting, logging, performance management, incident response, and reliability practices.
- Address vulnerabilities, technical debt, resiliency gaps, and disaster recovery requirements.
- Conduct code and architecture reviews, mentor engineers, and provide technical leadership across cross-functional initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 12+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or cloud engineering.
- Strong software development experience with Java, Python, Go, Node.js, or similar technologies.
- Hands-on experience designing, building, and operating distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native applications.
- Expertise with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration platforms.
- Strong experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP cloud services.
- Proficiency with Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud automation tools.
- Experience with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab for CI/CD.
- Experience with event-driven architectures, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or cloud messaging platforms.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, observability, monitoring, and production operations.
- Strong troubleshooting, incident management, reliability engineering, communication, stakeholder management, collaboration, and technical leadership skills.
