Base Salary

$90k - $190k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a senior developer on a cross-functional Agile Scrum team.
  • Research, design, develop, and modify application software supporting release deployments.
  • Produce detailed specifications and write software code for new and enhanced application functions.
  • Work with business analysts, designers, subject matter experts, product teams, shared services teams, and other stakeholders to understand and implement requirements.
  • Create and execute test cases, write user-story tasks and tests, and author technical application documentation.
  • Troubleshoot defects, perform root cause analysis, support defect prevention, and enforce software quality standards.
  • Ensure adherence to configuration change-control standards and deliver iterative application releases on time.
  • Write interfaces and conversion routines using application programming interfaces.
  • Research and analyze third-party software tools for potential implementation.
  • Estimate assigned work, report status and barriers in Scrum sessions, and assist with metrics tracking.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship and an active Secret DoD security clearance are required.
  • A B.S. or M.S. degree in Information Assurance, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline is required, with experience accepted in lieu of education.
  • At least seven years of related technical experience is required.
  • Expert developer experience with C#, Visual Basic, ASP.NET/MVC, SQL/database development, JavaScript, Entity Framework 6.x, HTML/CSS/Bootstrap, TFS/Git, and Palantir Foundry/Army Vantage is required.
  • A current DoD 8570/8140 certification, such as Sec+ CE or CASP CE, is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration, problem-solving, adaptability, self-direction, and ability to work with limited oversight are required.
