Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deliver, and improve scalable, maintainable, performant, and secure software solutions.
- Build backend systems for high-volume financial applications using Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, RESTful APIs, microservices, and service-to-service integrations.
- Develop and manage robust cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, CI/CD processes, and secure cloud-native deployments.
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases while maintaining data integrity and performance.
- Apply secure coding, authentication, authorization, encryption, unit testing, integration testing, and contract testing practices.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, architects, QA, security, DevOps, and other engineers to define requirements and solution strategies.
- Lead technical design discussions, conduct code reviews, mentor engineers, and contribute to technology communities.
- Manage risk, strengthen controls, and support governance, compliance, audit, resiliency, fault tolerance, high availability, and performance objectives.
- Communicate complex technical information and influence stakeholders across business and technology functions.
Requirements
- Extensive hands-on experience with Java, JDK 17+, Spring Boot, and Spring MVC.
- Experience with end-to-end full-stack development, frontend-backend integration, and asynchronous communication patterns.
- Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and NoSQL databases, with emphasis on data integrity and performance.
- Knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, authentication, authorization, encryption, and secure coding guidelines.
- Experience with AWS or Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native architectures.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, Maven, Gradle, and secure deployments.
- Proficiency with Git and enterprise development workflows.
- Experience leading technical design discussions, conducting code reviews, and mentoring engineers in large delivery teams.
- Strong knowledge of RESTful API design, microservices architecture, service-to-service integration, resiliency, fault tolerance, high availability, and performance optimization.
- Experience with JUnit, Mockito, integration testing, and contract testing.
- Preferred experience in regulated environments and knowledge of Agile/Scrum, enterprise architecture, banking domains, digital assets, blockchain, distributed ledger technologies, smart contracts, tokenization, consensus mechanisms, and AI-assisted software development.
- Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, strategic-thinking, risk-and-controls, and stakeholder-influencing skills.
