Responsibilities
- Build integrations between business systems, data pipelines, automations, internal tools, and lightweight services.
- Develop AI-backed workflows and agents or conventional code when appropriate.
- Own technical solutions end to end, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, documentation, and support.
- Operate inherited production automations through monitoring, alerting, incident response, observability improvements, and runbook creation.
- Prototype solutions for build-versus-buy decisions, vendor API evaluation, integration feasibility, and performance and security assessment.
- Execute data migrations, field mapping, cutover scripts, and system replacements.
- Work with Product Managers and Business Systems Analysts to translate defined requirements into deployed solutions.
- Integrate with SaaS APIs using authentication, webhooks, and event-driven flows.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of professional experience building software, integrations, or automations.
- Strong Python skills and practical fluency with APIs, including authentication, rate limits, retries, idempotency, pagination, webhooks, and event-driven patterns.
- Experience building integrations against SaaS APIs rather than only configuring integration platforms.
- Hands-on cloud experience, preferably with Google Cloud; AWS or Azure experience is acceptable.
- Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of a system that was designed, built, shipped, operated, and fixed after production issues.
- Ability to debug discrepancies across system boundaries and verify outputs through measurement and testing.
- Ability to learn unfamiliar technologies quickly and ship working solutions.
- Clear written communication skills for design notes, runbooks, and documentation.
- Preferred experience building AI agents, tool-use systems, agentic workflows, or MCP servers.
- Preferred exposure to CRM, ERP, HRIS, ITSM, SaaS ecosystems, data pipelines, BigQuery, ETL/ELT, and infrastructure-as-code.
