Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain C++17+ services.
- Implement and troubleshoot networking and real-time communication flows.
- Debug complex issues involving core dumps, concurrency, and performance.
- Work within and evolve a large existing codebase and maintain complex legacy systems.
- Collaborate with QA and product teams on behavior and edge cases.
- Participate in code reviews and engineering best practices.
- Contribute to Agile processes using Scrum and Jira.
Requirements
- Strong C++ skills, including C++17 or later and STL.
- Solid networking fundamentals, including TCP, UDP, and sockets.
- Experience with multithreaded and concurrent systems.
- Strong debugging skills with gdb and core dumps.
- Linux development experience.
- Ability to understand and maintain complex legacy systems.
- Experience with Agile practices and Jira or Atlassian tools.
- Preferred experience includes VoIP or PBX systems, SIP, RTP/RTCP, SDP, WebRTC, Boost/Boost.Asio, GitHub, Kubernetes, FreeSWITCH, Wireshark, tcpdump, performance profiling, optimization, scripting, or Python.
