Responsibilities
- Recommend reference architectures for enterprise AI solutions and design end-to-end Generative AI, Machine Learning, and agentic workflows.
- Evaluate technical feasibility through rapid prototyping, proofs of concept, and MVPs, including requirements, dependencies, integration points, effort estimates, and resource needs.
- Define scalable production architectures optimized for latency, reliability, cost efficiency, token management, inference patterns, and orchestration.
- Align AI architectures with security, compliance, risk, lifecycle, governance, safety, bias mitigation, and human-in-the-loop requirements.
- Provide technical oversight, architecture reviews, leadership, and mentorship across AI implementation projects.
- Maintain reusable AI architecture patterns, component templates, and concise documentation supporting decision-making, governance, and auditability.
- Design and execute technical assessments of AI models and emerging technologies, including performance, accuracy, safety, suitability, and integration readiness.
- Collaborate with business, AI and Data Governance, Security, Data, Infrastructure, and IT delivery teams to bridge business requirements and engineering execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- At least 5 years of experience designing end-to-end technical architectures for Machine Learning and Generative AI solutions.
- Proven experience conducting technical feasibility assessments, rapid prototyping, POCs, and MVPs.
- Experience with enterprise-scale systems, security standards, and AI governance.
- Expertise in AI design patterns such as RAG, fine-tuning, and agentic workflows, along with model evaluation frameworks.
- Strong technical leadership, mentorship, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- Ability to optimize architectures for scalability, cost efficiency, reliability, and long-term sustainability.
- Professional proficiency in English; Italian and/or additional European languages are a plus.
- Foundational knowledge of Machine Learning and Software Architecture.
