Responsibilities
- Design scalable, reliable, secure end-to-end architectures on Google Cloud Platform.
- Design Generative AI and Machine Learning solutions using Vertex AI, Large Language Models, and Google Cloud services for Telco and Network Operations use cases.
- Define real-time and near-real-time data architectures and pipelines using BigQuery and Google Cloud data services.
- Design cloud-native solutions using Kubernetes, Google Kubernetes Engine, containerized workloads, and API-driven integration patterns.
- Translate business and network requirements into architecture decisions, technology roadmaps, and transformation plans.
- Lead technical design and delivery activities while coordinating local and international engineering teams.
- Define architectural standards, guidelines, governance principles, and solution documentation.
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- Strong experience designing complex architectures on Google Cloud Platform, preferably in telecommunications.
- Practical experience designing and implementing Generative AI solutions based on Vertex AI and Large Language Models.
- Experience designing data architectures and real-time or near-real-time pipelines.
- Knowledge of Google Cloud data services including BigQuery, Spanner, Firestore, and Google Cloud Storage.
- Strong knowledge of cloud-native technologies including Kubernetes, Google Kubernetes Engine, containers, and microservices.
- Experience designing distributed architectures and API-driven integrations.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code practices and tools such as Terraform.
- Familiarity with telecommunications domains, processes, and systems, including OSS/BSS ecosystems.
- Ability to define architectural standards, technical governance models, and solution documentation.
- Good written and spoken English for working in international contexts.
- Experience applying Google Cloud and Generative AI to telecommunications is preferred.
- Knowledge of Autonomous Networks and the Google Autonomous Networks Operations Framework, ANOF, is preferred.
- Experience with AIOps, Network Automation, observability, and intelligent assurance is preferred.
- Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification or equivalent cloud and AI certifications is preferred.
