Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.
- Own and improve Terraform infrastructure-as-code configurations for reproducible and auditable environments.
- Manage serverless and event-driven architecture, including deployment workflows, autoscaling, and resource tuning.
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines for fast and safe software delivery.
- Strengthen monitoring, logging, alerting, and overall observability across the technology stack.
- Embed security and compliance best practices aligned with GDPR and ISO 27001.
- Design and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to provide infrastructure for new features and promote operational excellence.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, backend engineering, or a similar role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform; experience with another major cloud provider is welcome.
- Solid experience with infrastructure as code, especially Terraform.
- Production experience with serverless and event-driven architectures.
- Knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, and vector databases.
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Cloud Build, CircleCI, or Jenkins.
- Comfort with at least one scripting or programming language such as Python or Bash.
- Working knowledge of cloud networking, security, and cost management.
- Fluency in Italian and English.
- Experience with AI-based coding tools such as Cursor or Claude Code is a plus.
- Experience with AI and large language models is a plus.
