Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient Google Cloud Platform infrastructure.
- Own and improve Terraform infrastructure-as-code environments for reproducibility, auditing, and maintainability.
- Manage serverless and event-driven architecture, including deployment workflows, autoscaling, and resource tuning.
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Cloud Build, CircleCI, and Jenkins.
- Strengthen monitoring, logging, alerting, security, and compliance across the infrastructure stack.
- Design disaster recovery and business continuity plans and implementation strategies.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to provide infrastructure for new features and promote operational excellence.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, backend engineering, or a similar role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform and willingness to develop deep GCP expertise.
- Solid infrastructure-as-code experience, especially with Terraform.
- Production experience with serverless and event-driven architectures.
- Knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, vector databases, or similar database systems.
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Comfort with Python, Bash, or another scripting or programming language for automation.
- Working knowledge of cloud networking, security, and cost management.
- Fluency in Italian and English.
- Experience with AI-based coding tools such as Cursor or Claude Code is a plus.
- Experience with AI and LLMs is a plus.
