Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain critical cloud infrastructure on GCP, including Load Balancers, VPC, CDN, cross-region routes, and API Gateway.
- Drive platform automation using Go and Python to reduce manual toil and support scalable operations.
- Own and evolve Terraform-based infrastructure as code across a broad set of infrastructure resources.
- Set up and maintain observability with Datadog, Google Cloud Logging, and Sentry.
- Define and maintain SLOs and SLAs with stakeholders.
- Deliver platform improvements with system and software engineers while maintaining reliability and security.
Requirements
- Extensive hands-on knowledge of GCP and public cloud infrastructure, including experience owning critical systems at scale.
- Solid experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code.
- Strong Kubernetes experience operating containerized workloads in production.
- Proficiency in Python for automation and platform tooling.
- Experience balancing rapid delivery with reliability, security, monitoring, and strong operational practices.
- Passion for automation and distributed systems, with a focus on scalable and repeatable solutions.
