Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud infrastructure across compute, networking, storage, and security using Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK.
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines with reliable releases, quality gates, and safe rollback capabilities.
- Automate provisioning, deprovisioning, backups, scheduled maintenance, and other Day-2 operations.
- Build and refine Datadog dashboards, alerts, and runbooks and help resolve root causes of system issues.
- Perform system patching and maintain FedRAMP security compliance procedures.
- Partner with Product Engineering and Site Reliability Engineering teams to launch services and share technical practices.
Requirements
- Require 3/4+ years of hands-on cloud, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering experience.
- Require hands-on expertise with AWS or equivalent production cloud services, including EC2, ECS, EKS, VPC, S3, and RDS.
- Require proficiency with Bash or Python, experience with general-purpose programming languages, and daily Git-based workflows.
- Require experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD systems such as GitLab CI or Jenkins.
- Require advanced ability to write reusable, modular infrastructure code using Terraform or AWS CDK.
- Require familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog and the ability to use metrics and logs for problem resolution.
