Responsibilities
- Oversee the health, stability, and scalability of CI/CD infrastructure supporting product delivery.
- Monitor and respond to outages in CI/CD systems to maintain high availability and operational reliability.
- Develop strategies, guidelines, and governance for secure, compliant, resilient, and future-proof CI/CD systems.
- Optimize CI/CD compute and storage usage while maintaining a strong developer experience.
- Investigate and resolve CI/CD tooling issues with internal engineering customers and partner teams.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with CI systems such as GitLab, Jenkins, or Buildkite, with a focus on self-hosted operations.
- Experience with cloud-native deployment and GitOps solutions such as GitLab, ArgoCD, Flux, GoCD, Spinnaker, or Harness.
- Experience with at least one major cloud provider and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
- Experience running, monitoring, and developing systems on Kubernetes, using tools such as Helm, and working with cloud-native container tools and optimized images.
- Strong problem-solving, investigative, communication, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Previous experience with Google Cloud Platform, GitLab continuous integration, or ArgoCD deployment platforms is preferred.
