Responsibilities
- Lead the DevOps function by defining standards, guiding engineers, and driving technical decisions across teams.
- Define and align CI/CD strategy and build pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and TeamCity.
- Automate build, testing, deployment, and operational workflows.
- Manage and enhance GCP-based infrastructure, including Kubernetes/GKE, Docker workloads, IAM, networking, and secure configuration.
- Implement and maintain Terraform Infrastructure as Code and Git-driven infrastructure workflows.
- Ensure observability, stability, and incident response excellence using monitoring, logging, and SDLC processes.
- Mentor engineers, manage people, collaborate with development, QA, and IT operations teams, and engage senior stakeholders.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with GCP, Kubernetes/GKE, Docker, and Linux.
- Strong understanding of security, IAM, networking, and certificate management.
- Advanced Bash and Python scripting skills.
- Strong Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform and Git-driven processes.
- Expertise with Git, Maven, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, TeamCity, and end-to-end CI/CD automation.
- Experience with Prometheus, New Relic, Geneos, monitoring, logging, distributed-system troubleshooting, change management, and incident management.
- Strong technical leadership, mentoring, communication, and people-management capabilities.
