Responsibilities
- Design and develop maintainable, scalable OpenText AppWorks and Java components for cards and payments workflows.
- Implement optimized SQL queries and database structures for accurate, high-performance transaction processing.
- Configure and extend AppWorks Entity REST API integrations between internal platforms and external partner systems.
- Translate cards and payments business requirements into technical designs and implementation plans.
- Collaborate with product owners and business analysts to refine user stories and validate functional and nonfunctional requirements.
- Conduct unit, integration, and regression testing; troubleshoot defects and perform root cause analysis.
- Optimize performance by tuning SQL, refactoring Java code, and adjusting AppWorks configurations.
- Create and maintain technical and deployment documentation.
- Support deployments, production monitoring, and incident resolution with operations and support teams.
- Apply secure coding and data protection practices for sensitive cardholder data.
- Contribute automation, reusable components, and other development process improvements.
- Mentor junior developers in SQL, OpenText AppWorks, AppWorks Entity REST API, and Java.
