Responsibilities
- Architect and personally ship critical customer-facing product surfaces across frontend and backend layers.
- Own full-stack technical decisions and write code across frontend, backend, and infrastructure.
- Shape the engineering platform, including Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and observability.
- Turn reusable patterns, components, services, and architectural practices into shared organizational building blocks.
- Mentor senior engineers, lead architecture conversations, and remove engineering friction.
- Partner with Product and Design to deliver high-quality user interfaces and products.
Requirements
- 10+ years of engineering experience with strong backgrounds in product engineering and platform/SRE work.
- Expert-level React and TypeScript experience for frontend development.
- Deep experience building distributed backends in Go, Python, or TypeScript.
- Architectural-level hands-on experience with GCP or AWS and Terraform.
- Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines built with GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
- A proven track record designing scalable, resilient, observable, cloud-native distributed systems.
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger, and scalable testing strategies.
- Strong product sensibility and experience partnering with Product and Design.
- Hands-on builder who can lead architecture, mentor engineers, and establish reusable engineering patterns.
