Responsibilities
- Design, develop, analyze, test, implement, and support new or revised enterprise application systems and programs.
- Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology activities, and application development work.
- Monitor and control application development phases including analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation.
- Analyze complex application problems and evaluate business processes, system processes, and industry standards.
- Recommend and develop post-implementation security measures and programming solutions.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups and assist with installation and operational support.
- Define operating standards and ensure required procedures are followed.
- Advise and coach new or lower-level analysts and serve as a subject matter expert to stakeholders and team members.
- Assess and manage technology and business risks while maintaining compliance with applicable laws, policies, and regulations.
Requirements
- 7–12 years of experience designing and developing enterprise-level applications.
- Hands-on proficiency with Core Java, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, Kafka, MQ, and MongoDB.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Lightspeed for build management, and application deployment on OpenShift.
- Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications.
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects.
- Working knowledge of consulting and project management techniques and methods.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with AI-powered developer tools such as GitHub Copilot and interest in applying AI to improve the software development lifecycle are strong advantages.
