Responsibilities
- Lead partner engagements from technical exchange through integration design and written resolution of open items.
- Design solutions spanning multiple engineering teams and companies through architecture, orchestration, and proof of concept.
- Create reusable reference architectures, decision guidance, and integration documentation.
- Translate partner and field needs into scoped and prioritized engineering work and document decisions.
- Establish automated or self-service onboarding paths that scale across Army formations and industry partners.
- Conduct technical working sessions, track commitments across organizations, and communicate decisions to engineers and senior military stakeholders.
Requirements
- Maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, solutions architecture, integration engineering, technical program management, or forward-deployed engineering.
- Demonstrated ability to design and critique REST or gRPC integrations, authentication flows including OIDC and service credentials, schemas or data contracts, and event streams.
- Experience owning technical work across organizational boundaries or leading an external engineering team or developer-facing platform surface.
- Strong technical writing skills, including reference architectures and integration guides; a writing sample is required.
- Ability to communicate technical decisions to engineering teams and senior military stakeholders.
- Preferred qualifications include U.S. Army or defense delivery experience, accreditation and authorization experience, work across classification enclaves and constrained environments, co-development with defense organizations, developer experience work, and command-and-control or tactical systems domain knowledge.
