Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for fast, safe, and automated deployments.
- Automate infrastructure and contribute to cloud environment management.
- Build internal developer tools and administer Atlassian Jira Cloud to improve engineering workflows.
- Manage Jira Cloud workflows, permissions, automation, users, integrations, governance, and operational practices.
- Troubleshoot Jira Cloud administration issues and resolve system problems.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and security.
- Implement branching strategies and code review processes.
- Collaborate with developers, stakeholders, and operations teams to support smooth software delivery.
- Perform system administration tasks for Linux and Windows servers and configure network services.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of DevOps Engineer experience with strong development experience.
- Experience administering Atlassian Jira Cloud and enterprise applications.
- Experience with GitHub, GitHub Actions, and Git.
- Experience with AWS, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Strong programming and scripting experience with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with infrastructure as code and container orchestration.
- Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk for monitoring and logging.
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows server administration, network services, system security, and performance optimization.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements.
- Relevant cloud, DevOps, or related certifications are a plus.
- Experience with Confluence Cloud and Atlassian Marketplace apps is a plus.
