Responsibilities
- Lead or support end-to-end Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management implementations.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
- Configure and customize WAM modules for asset lifecycle management, work orders, preventive maintenance, inspections, and scheduling.
- Develop and maintain integrations with Oracle Utilities products and external GIS, ERP, and EAM systems.
- Customize WAM using Java, Groovy scripts, web services, and Oracle Utilities Application Framework.
- Participate in data migration, including mapping, cleansing, and validation.
- Support system testing, user acceptance testing, training, deployment, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile or Waterfall project environments.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience with Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management; the posting also specifies 4+ years of OUWAM experience.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Utilities Application Framework and hands-on experience configuring and customizing WAM solutions.
- Experience with asset management, work order management, preventive maintenance, and related utility workflows.
- Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL, with an understanding of Java and Groovy scripting.
- Experience integrating WAM with Oracle Utilities products or third-party systems through SOAP and REST APIs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or 15 years of full-time education.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills; utility industry experience is a plus.
