Responsibilities
- Design, provision, and operate infrastructure across AWS, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, StackIT, and OpenStack using Infrastructure as Code.
- Operate and evolve managed Kubernetes platforms including Amazon EKS and Oracle OKE.
- Develop reusable infrastructure abstractions with Terraform, Terragrunt, Terramate, and Crossplane.
- Deploy and maintain managed cloud services, object storage, networking services, and cloud-native integrations.
- Build and operate shared platform services including Kafka, HashiCorp Vault, Kubernetes Operators, ingress controllers, and API gateways.
- Design secure multi-cloud networking covering routing, peering, load balancing, firewalls, and Layer 4/Layer 7 traffic management.
- Operate Istio or similar service mesh technologies for service connectivity, observability, and traffic management.
- Implement identity, access management, secrets management, policy enforcement, and least-privilege security controls.
- Collaborate with software engineers, SREs, and security teams to provide scalable platform capabilities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building and operating cloud infrastructure, with strong AWS experience and exposure to OCI or other cloud providers.
- Extensive Terraform experience, including large-scale modular architectures; Terragrunt and/or Terramate experience is highly desirable.
- Strong operational knowledge of Kubernetes, including Amazon EKS and Oracle OKE.
- Understanding of Kubernetes architecture, Operators, CSI, CNI, scheduling, networking, storage, and lifecycle management.
- Experience building Crossplane Composite Resources, Compositions, and provider integrations.
- Deep knowledge of cloud networking, including VPCs, routing, security groups, firewalls, load balancers, service meshes, and hybrid connectivity.
- Experience deploying and operating Istio or similar service mesh technologies.
- Experience operating Kafka, Vault, ingress controllers, API gateways, and Kubernetes Operators.
- Understanding of IAM, authentication, authorization, Keycloak, secrets management, and least-privilege design.
- Strong proficiency in Bash and Python for automation, tooling, and platform operations.
- Experience implementing policy as code with OPA/Gatekeeper, Kyverno, or comparable frameworks.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, high availability, disaster recovery, and infrastructure design patterns.
- Pulumi or AWS CDK experience, GitOps tooling knowledge, observability platform experience, FinOps knowledge, and internal developer platform experience are preferred.
- Fluent English communication skills are essential, and the CV must be submitted in English.
