Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal customers and partners to deliver business outcomes.
- Design, develop, deploy, and operate reliable, scalable, efficient, and compliant cloud products and self-service application lifecycle platforms.
- Improve observability, monitoring, and alerting across cloud services.
- Respond to cloud incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans.
- Analyze system performance and optimize resource utilization and application performance.
- Improve CI/CD processes and develop automation to reduce manual work and enhance reliability.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of programming experience with Go or Python.
- At least 3 years of experience implementing large-scale, distributed, high-availability, fault-tolerant systems and infrastructure in production.
- Experience delivering products in a multifunctional team environment.
- Expertise with observability tools and practices.
- Extensive Kubernetes experience as an SRE or in related cloud infrastructure and cloud-native technologies.
- Strong understanding of API design and experience building web services at scale.
- Kubernetes controller development experience is highly desirable.
- Kubernetes or related lifecycle-management certifications, high-traffic environment experience, additional programming or framework familiarity, and open-source contributions are preferred.
- Understanding of application lifecycle management and CI/CD is a plus.
