Responsibilities
- Define and mature the strategy for Threat Intelligence at Snowflake.
- Identify, profile, and track threat actors targeting Snowflake and its ecosystem.
- Operationalize threat intelligence to prioritize security initiatives.
- Produce high-quality intelligence reports and leadership communications.
- Engineer solutions to improve the efficiency and impact of the Threat Intelligence program.
- Build AI-assisted intelligence workflows for various tasks.
- Partner with security teams to convert intelligence into actionable outcomes.
- Monitor alerts and external developments for relevant threat events.
- Drive standards for intelligence curation and delivery.
- Mentor engineers and analysts to enhance team capabilities.
Requirements
- Significant experience in threat intelligence or related security disciplines.
- Experience researching sophisticated threat actors in cloud-native environments.
- Proficiency in coding with Python or Go for automation and data analysis.
- Ability to handle data programmatically using SQL and Python.
- Strong understanding of enterprise security controls and threat detection methodologies.
- Experience with major cloud providers like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
