Responsibilities
- Define risk-based end-to-end quality strategies for bill inquiry applications and customer billing journeys.
- Design and maintain scalable Playwright automation frameworks for web-channel regression testing.
- Develop RestAssured API test suites covering service contracts, data integrity, authorization flows, error handling, and performance.
- Create modular JavaScript automation utilities and helpers for maintainable and reusable test scripts.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing and document results and defects.
- Analyze production incidents and quality trends to create regression scenarios and preventive controls.
- Mentor team members on quality engineering, automation standards, coding guidelines, and test design.
- Establish and monitor defect leakage, automation coverage, execution reliability, and release-readiness metrics.
- Coordinate with product, engineering, business, performance, and reliability stakeholders on requirements, traffic scenarios, risks, and blockers.
- Document and continuously improve test cases, automation suites, quality processes, and quality reports.
Requirements
- Five to eight years of experience in quality engineering or test automation roles.
- Strong hands-on expertise developing, executing, triaging, and optimizing Playwright automation for modern web applications.
- Proven experience using RestAssured to test complex APIs, including request and response structures, headers, authorization flows, and error scenarios.
- Solid JavaScript programming skills for modular automation code, utilities, asynchronous operations, and test-tool integration.
- Practical bill inquiry domain experience, including billing adjustments, dispute flows, payment clarifications, and statement breakdowns.
- Experience working in agile product teams and delivering stable releases for customer-facing systems.
- Clear communication skills for working with technical and non-technical stakeholders in a multinational environment.
- ISTQB Certified Tester Advanced Level Test Automation Engineer certification or an equivalent test automation certification.
