Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable Java and Spring Boot microservices.
- Build and maintain versioned RESTful APIs using appropriate HTTP semantics and security practices.
- Implement business logic, service-layer components, and data access layers using clean architecture principles.
- Model, index, optimize, and maintain relational and NoSQL database systems.
- Write unit and integration tests for web applications using modern testing frameworks.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain code quality, readability, and maintainability.
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance, availability, and scalability.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, product managers, and DevOps teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- 6–8 years of hands-on experience building and maintaining full-stack or backend-focused web applications.
- Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
- Understanding of RESTful service design, microservices architecture, and API security, with OAuth2/JWT preferred.
- Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB or equivalent NoSQL databases.
- Understanding of Hibernate/JPA or comparable ORM frameworks.
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD concepts.
- Exposure to AWS services is advantageous.
- Basic understanding of Docker and microservices deployment is a plus.
