Responsibilities
- Program, test, implement, document, maintain, and support application software.
- Develop secure, scalable, high-quality software solutions from technical requirements and design artifacts.
- Research, create, and evaluate alternative technical solutions for business needs.
- Create systems and testing documentation according to department standards.
- Follow development, testing, quality assurance, quality control, and audit compliance processes.
- Support collection and reporting of project and software metrics.
- Identify opportunities to improve standards and process efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
- 0 to 12 months of experience in software engineering.
- Basic understanding of software engineering concepts and methodologies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to learn and implement new technologies, frameworks, and tools quickly.
- Collaborative, organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure and on geographically distributed teams.
