Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end development of AI-driven motion-capture and Methods-Time Measurement solutions.
- Design and implement computer-vision models for tracking and analyzing hand and body movements in production videos.
- Develop algorithms and machine-learning models to calculate actual and standard time, classify motion patterns, and detect inefficiencies.
- Maintain a standardized motion library and translate motion patterns into reusable MTM-based codes.
- Transform video, image, and manual time-study data into structured datasets and build feature-engineering pipelines.
- Monitor data quality, data drift, model performance, and governance across systems.
- Coordinate co-development with external vendors, including requirements, deliverable reviews, knowledge transfer, and performance monitoring.
- Translate business needs into AI and data strategies while bridging technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
- Identify process improvements that reduce cycle time, rework, and production inefficiencies.
- Define KPIs and evaluate the business impact, scalability, and applicability of AI solutions.
- Lead proof-of-concept initiatives, design test scenarios, oversee user acceptance testing, and support change management.
- Provide training and guidance on time-tracking systems, data entry, AI adoption, and testing practices.
- Mentor junior staff and support the Senior Manager, Standard Time, on related activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in AI/ML, computer vision, data science, or advanced analytics, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Experience developing AI solutions involving motion capture, computer vision, and machine-learning model deployment.
- Strong knowledge of computer-vision techniques such as pose estimation, object tracking, and video analytics.
- Experience with OpenCV, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Experience with time-study methodologies such as MTM, motion analysis, or industrial-engineering concepts is highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience transforming unstructured video and image data into structured, model-ready datasets through data and feature engineering.
- Strong proficiency in Python, VSCode, SQL, and data-processing pipelines; Azure experience is an advantage.
- Experience building scalable AI/ML solutions and monitoring data drift, model accuracy, and other performance indicators.
- Experience working with external vendors or offshore development teams, including requirements definition and delivery validation.
- Ability to translate complex AI concepts into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in process improvement and operational analytics with measurable business impact.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and work independently with strong accountability.
- Good command of Thai and English.
