Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted strategic advisor and Salesforce product and platform expert to complex enterprise customers.
- Lead internal strategic initiatives that grow the consulting practice and contribute to the community knowledge base.
- Guide customers and colleagues in adopting emerging technologies that increase business value.
- Manage risks, customer expectations, complex negotiations, and issues through complete resolution.
- Review and correct project or program direction, approaches, and key artifacts to keep solutions maintainable and extendable.
- Architect technology solutions with delivery managers, solution architects, clients, and third-party partners.
- Contribute to program vision and advise on strategies involving the Salesforce Platform.
- Analyze, design, and optimize business processes through technology and integration.
- Present and defend technical points of view to varied audiences, including C-level executives.
- Lead technical teams or workstreams and mentor and develop talent.
Requirements
- 8+ years of enterprise architecture or consulting experience.
- 4+ years of experience leading Salesforce Core Projects.
- Strong application design skills and strong data, integration, and security architecture skills.
- Strong presentation, written communication, verbal communication, listening, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Strong experience with integration concepts, designs, and patterns.
- Ability to learn and apply new concepts, business models, and technologies quickly.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline, or equivalent demonstrable work experience.
- Application design and development background and strong enterprise architecture experience are preferred.
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect or multiple Salesforce Architecture certifications are preferred.
- Consumer Goods Cloud, Consumer Goods Retail Execution, Trade Promotion Management, and general Consumer Goods industry experience are advantageous.
- Experience with AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Agentforce for Developers is preferred.
- Experience defining and delivering enterprise applications on the Salesforce Platform is preferred.
- Experience leading technical teams or workstreams and building relationships with C-level executives and senior technology leaders is preferred.
