Senior Software Engineer
Schneider ElectricResponsibilities
- Develop software for collecting, analyzing, operating on, and presenting data from thousands of buildings.
- Build and maintain backend systems primarily in Go with SQL and frontend systems using TypeScript, React, or Angular.
- Design and develop APIs and REST interfaces.
- Create internal tools for testing and monitoring and support continuous deployment through Infrastructure as Code.
- Make and communicate technical and architectural decisions independently in writing and verbally.
- Regularly learn and apply new technologies and ecosystems, including C# and Angular.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 4 years of software development experience.
- Experience with modern web development technologies including Go, TypeScript, and React.
- Experience developing APIs and REST interfaces.
- Ability to write simple, understandable code and communicate technical and code decisions clearly.
- Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, problem-solving, learning, and improvement skills.
- Ability and ambition to work onsite in the Lund office three days per week.
- Preferred experience with functional programming, SQL and NoSQL databases, Azure, cloud-native development, YAML, pipelines, Terraform, and scripting.
- Understanding of Agile development.
