- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications, data pipelines, and platform capabilities for the Transaction Radar ecosystem.
- Build and enhance real-time and batch data ingestion solutions using Kafka, Databricks, Spark, and Snowflake.
- Develop, optimize, and support Snowflake databases, views, stored procedures, and reporting solutions.
- Participate in cloud transformation and modernization initiatives across Azure and AWS.
- Translate business and technical requirements into scalable solutions with stakeholders, architects, application teams, and infrastructure partners.
- Investigate production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive improvements.
- Improve scalability, performance, monitoring, stability, reliability, and operational efficiency across applications and data platforms.
- Support design reviews, code reviews, testing, deployment, release management, and production support.
- Contribute to automation, CI/CD, DevOps, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Ensure solutions comply with enterprise security, risk, audit, and regulatory requirements.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and support materials.
- Collaborate with global teams across multiple regions and time zones.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, platform engineering, or a related field.
- Strong SQL development and data analysis skills, with hands-on experience using Snowflake or another cloud data warehouse.
- Experience building and supporting large-scale data processing, integration, and data-pipeline solutions.
- Proficiency in Java and Scala.
- Experience with Databricks, Spark, or equivalent distributed data-processing frameworks.
- Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging technologies such as Kafka or MQ.
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure and AWS.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle, DevOps, CI/CD, and release management practices.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaboration across global teams and stakeholder groups.
- Preferred experience in financial services, capital markets, asset management, or transaction-processing platforms.
- Preferred experience with real-time data ingestion, streaming applications, enterprise integration patterns, Kubernetes, containerization, cloud-native architectures, performance tuning, monitoring, production support, incident management, and enterprise security or regulatory requirements.
