Responsibilities
- Build backend components and domain microservices that support interactive and near-real-time customer experiences.
- Design and deliver REST and GraphQL APIs and event-driven integrations.
- Engineer asynchronous workflows and event consumers and producers for resilient distributed services.
- Own and optimize service-owned data stores and support data migration from legacy monolithic platforms.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, performance tuning, and code reviews.
- Monitor live services, resolve incidents, and improve observability, stability, security, and production performance.
Requirements
- Experience with generative AI development and integration involving microservices and APIs.
- Experience with Scala, Java and Spring Boot, .NET, and/or Python.
- Knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, Cassandra, HBase, Spark, and Yarn.
- Experience with Docker, Git, Kubernetes, messaging platforms, event streaming, and cloud-native development.
- Strong collaborative problem-solving, ownership, adaptability, systems thinking, technical communication, quality focus, and operational resilience.
